The city is served by 44 sworn police officers, who provide patrol, traffic control, K-9 and bike patrol, educational programs, and criminal and narcotic investigations. Our Communications Division and support staff is made up of 13 non-sworn members and is dedicated to outstanding public service. Through mutual respect, education, leadership, and supervision, the WPD brings into focus moral and ethical standards, including integrity, fairness, and service.
